The Rushere area stretches from Kyakabunga, Kaguta Road covering a total area of 135 Km. With 476 customers, we serve 40 % of the populations’ water needs and nil % of its sewerage needs with 476 connections. Our area offices are located at Rushere Town Board, and P.O. Box: 03. Water sources and infrastructure

The raw water is abstracted from River Kacheera and treated at Lyantonde- by Treatment Process. The water production capacity is 320 m³/day and the water capacity utilization is 100%.
The raw water goes through water treatment before pumping it to the reservoirs for distribution.

However, the area has borehole installations in place; In Rushere, there are three (03) boreholes in Binimba, Akanara and King capable of producing 80m3 /day combined. Kiruhura also has two (02) boreholes; Mwaka and Katete producing 30m3 /day combined and Kazo also with two (02) borehole; Byeshembe and Kyenyana producing 50m3 /day combined.
