The Nebbi Cluster area stretches from Pakwach upto Nyapea in Zombo District within which the network coverage area is of 280 Km2. With 4,583 customers, we serve 64% of the populations’. Water source and infrastructure

The raw water of Nebbi is abstracted from river Namwrodho through a slow sand filter water treatment process at the Nebbi Water Treatment Plant with a water production capacity of 850 m³/day and the water capacity utilization is 57%.

Paidha branch water supply abstracts from two motorized boreholes at Ayoda and Jopomucho respectively with a water production capacity of 660 m³/day and the water capacity utilization is 48 %.

Pakwach branch water supply abstracts from River Nile through slow sand filter water treatment process at the Pakwach Water Treatment Plant with a water production capacity of 350 m³/day and the water capacity utilization is 12%.

Safe water coverage is expected to be at 65%, 70%, 67 in Nebbi, Paidha and Pakwach respectively and expected to improve at the completion of all the project works carried out by NWSC and the Ministry of Water and Enviroment.Read More
